Looking for more home-made crafts to do this week with your family? This week Jen Hunt dives into masks which you can make with materials around your home such as paper and plastic bags, cardboard rolls and plastic jugs! There is a wide variety of simple puppets to make to keep creativity going within your household.

Another week socially distanced and we have come across another at home craft to make during your quarantine! After seeing a show at the New Victory Theater by IBEX Puppetry, we followed the lead of Adelka Polak by making puppets of Cranes using only a couple materials from around the house. Stuck at home and looking for something fun and simple do stay entertained? Look no further! The Masque Family Theater is following the lead of Augusto Cabrera's concept of making home-made masks from only cardboard, masking tape, newspaper and paint! This activity is a great way to stay creative and engaged at home with only a few materials. We also have introduced Z Briggs' concept of glove-puppets to our at home activities this week, also using minimal materials such as felt/fabric, string and googly eyes to make all sorts of fun animals! Both of these activities are fun for kids of all ages (like all of us here at MFT) and we hope you enjoy doing these crafts at home with your family!
